My take on it is tht races will more likely be introduce in chapter 4, for eg, the tengu and dwarves..We already have 10 profs, i seriously doubt tht they will introduce new ones.But who knows ,surprise me ANet...a better and improved game interface will be even greater.......oh,maybe thts guildwars 2?

desperately? Ele, Mesmer, Necro, Monk, Ritualist... 5 of em... hows that desperate?

Theres only two Ranged weapon users... We're the minority! any new prof should be a corsair/musketter, I want some guns dammit.

or or .. druids like in diablo, shapeshifters or i dunno.. melee fighters that dont use weapons but hands

no plz. no race. race would ruin guildwars. i think GW 4 should focus on having an HUGE map and storyline. no more class, you can take any proffession you want as long as they're unlocked. (sin and rit if you own faction, dervish and para is you own NF + the core prof.)

I just had to say, that this game is already enough like Diablo 2. A Shifter class would just further make the games seem the same.

Assasin..Both have them as duel wielders
Warriors..Barbarians in Ds have weapon speciality as skills
Elementalist..Sorceress...fire, ice, lightnig
Necro...D2's necros have curses and mm
Rangers..amazon

The D2 druid has earth spells and pet skills and SHAPESHIFTING
Having a shapeshifter in GW would make them the same exact game!

There arn't monks in D2 though

Druid isnt a bad idea. There probably is a possiblity of new races, but I recall that ANET specifically didnt want to have new races because of any "racial connotations" stuff that would result of it. Even though wammos/nukers/smite monks have their own hate to them.

Plus.. with races they would have to make humans/tengu/dwarves have perks associated with them. This would cause a lot of chaos in the GW world (people going nuts cause they have to make a new race to match its specialty in a profession).

I think a Druid is your best bet at something new in GW

They did come from Blizzard after all. You can say that about a lot of games.
Druids wont be possible as Rangers are already considered Druids.... Druid Armor anyone?
